The BPM Top Drive System currently has 15 models, which can meet the oil and gas drilling needs of land, vehicle-mounted and offshore drilling rigs for the wells with drill depth ranging from 2,000 m to 15,000 m. BPM top drive has been successfully applied in China's key exploration and development blocks and more than 60 countries and regions all over the world, nearly half of which have been deployed overseas. According to statistics, the application of top drive can save drilling time by nearly 30%, effectively reducing drilling costs, and providing safe, efficient, and reliable technical equipment support to achieve speed increase, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement for completion of complex wells.The direct-drive top drive is a new type of top drive integrated with electromechanical technology in the design. It adopts permanent magnets synchronous alternating frequency Motors to drive the main shaft directly without Gear Box, which shortens the transmission chain. Besides, it has symmetrical and compact structure, shorter main cable and control cable, realizing more efficiency in the installation and lower fault rate. Compared to asynchronous Motors, the high-efficiency, low-consumption, low-speed and large-torque permanent magnet direct drive, has an energy consumption reduced by 20 to 30%; it adopts an embedded liquid cooling system, reducing the volume of the cooling system and has low noise; one-button operation is achieved in terms of the drilling speed, lifting ring rotation angle, release of counter torque, etc.; advanced control technologies such as torsional pendulum resistance reduction and soft torque are integrated to suppress PDC bit drilling stick-slip; and it can perform a pre-failure analysis on key components based on the comprehensive use time and efficacy through sensor signal collection, thereby prompting inspection or replacement thereof.
The TDS Workover System is not only used for casing milling, milling, drilling cement plugs, bridge plugs, fishing and other workover operations, but also for sidetracking, drilling open hole wells and core drilling operations. It can be directly connected to single or dual pipes. The advantages of this system include stable main shaft movement, powerful torque output and convenient operation. It can also help to reduce NPT, improve work efficiency and reduce operating costs effectively.
With a compact design, it can be applied on majority of shallow well derricks or workover derricks. The main shaft is directly driven by a hydraulic motor without transmission gears, making the transmission reliable and easy to maintain. It is powered by a high-torque radial piston motor, featured as small in size and large in torque. A closed-loop hydraulic system is adopted, and the torque and speed are of stepless adjustment within the specified range; the main bearing inside the casing adopts oil-immersed lubrication, which can provide sufficient lubrication and has cooling function, with a compact and reasonable structure; the pipeline winch traction winch has its cooling and oil replenishment functions isolated from each other to avoid mutual interfere, thus their rESPective independence and mutual reliability are increased.
